Indian Institute of Technology invites application from Indian Nationals on regular or contract basis for 5 years on the following posts :-

1. Assistant Registrar - 4


2. Superintendent - 5


3. Technical Superintendent - 5



Age Limit :-

a.) Maximum up to 50 years


b.) 25 to 40 years


c.) 25 to 40 years


Pay scale:-

a.) PB-3:Rs.15600-39100; GP: Rs.5400/-


b.) PB-2:Rs.9300-34800; GP: Rs.4600/-


c.) PB-2:Rs.9300-34800; GP: Rs.4600/-


Educational qualification:-
 

a.) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks, or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale along with good academic record.

b.) 1. A Masters degree with 55% marks and above.

2. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience of supervisory post in Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- or equivalent in Govt. Dept./ autonomous body/ Private Sector Organization of repute in one or more of the following areas: Accounting, Auditing, Financial procedures, Administrative matters including Establishment, Academic matters such as conduct of examinations, maintenance of student records, Estate Management, Materials Management, Import procedure and Hospital Administration.

3. Should have computer literacy and experience of working in a computer environment.

c.) 1. M.Sc. in appropriate field/ B.Tech/ B.E. or B.Sc. in appropriate field OR Diploma in Engineering in appropriate field from respective State Board with 5 years relevant experience of supervisory post in the Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- or equivalent in Govt. Dept./autonomous body/ Private Sector Organization of repute.

2. Should have computer literacy and experience of working in a computer environment.

NOTE: The appointment may be made in four areas classified as below:
(a) Mechanical/ Structural,
(b) Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Physics,
(c) Chemistry/ Chemical/ Biological and similar sciences,
(d) Information Technology/ Computer Science
